So the progression of the light cycle from Tron to Tron sequel is the light plane. In my opinion though, that doesn't convey "modern upgrade". The light plane should be a light segway.

Remember playing Cookie Jar in preschool? Everyone does, and I think that game is the sole reason why present society is so quick to place blame on the next person. My teacher also made us play a game called "Bail the foreign classmates, Costas and Oscar, out of financial debt", which was oddly specific and foreboding to think about it now...
